  • Doctorate in Education program (1997-2002)
  • MBA study program (1997-2000)
  • masters degree study of the implementation of videoconferencing
  • experience as a senior manager in the public service, and his close involvement with Ministers and Chief Executive Officers
  • experience as a writer for many audiences and contexts, including for the Commonwealth Government, 14 universities, school systems, hospitals and a variety of corporate audiences
  • experience with the media and in marketing educational and community services
  • proven ability to provide a bridge between vendors and users
  • experience as the Manager of Open Learning for a State educational system
  • two years experience planning and three years experience managing Australia's leading videoconferencing network, TAFE Channel
  • experience in managing or being a leading consultant in numerous national projects on aspects of open learning, online learning and videoconferencing.
