  • BA Hons (Latrobe University 1990), Postgrad Dip. Applied Science (RMIT University 2002), Master Assessment and Evaluation (Melbourne University 2007). Undertaking a graduate diploma in database management at Swinburne University (2010).

  • has strong expertise in statistics and is one of the handful of qualified psychometricians in education in Australia 
  • was awarded a medal by NCVER in 2008 for his pioneering work on measuring student satisfaction for Chisholm TAFE
  • provided consulting advice on survey management systems to William Angliss TAFE, Swinburne TAFE, Mornington Shire Council
  • designed a suite of six quantitative measurement tools for Challenger TAFE
  • designed the national surveys and developed the structural equation models for the two ACCI studies and the national study of VET assessors for QLD DET
  • is acknowledged by the Australian suppliers of the powerful statistics and business analytics program SPSS as one of the leading users of the software nationally
