STOP PRESS: Release of report on national VET practitioner skills
Why was JMA Analytics created? Following successful assignments undertaken in 2008, JMA Analytics was created in 2009 as a division of John Mitchell & Associates primarily to enable educational decision-makers to systematically measure their organisational quality and to leverage off their proven quality as a competitive advantage. In April 2010, and in response to client demand for services, the division was converted into a new company, JMA Analytics Pty Ltd. JMA Analytics provides educational managers with new strategies for meeting these challenges and achieving success. What is JMA analytics? While the management challenges around educational quality drove its creation, JMA Analytics can be applied to many other parts of an educational organisation, including its strategic planning, marketing planning, workforce development, customer relationships, client management and financial management. If it can be measured, JMA Analytics can assist. In summary, JMA Analytics involves the sophisticated use of statistical and quantitative analysis as well as explanatory and predictive models to drive evidence-based management decisions and innovative strategies. JMA Analytics is at the higher end of business intelligence. It involves the use of a set of technologies and processes that use data to understand and analyse business performance. That analysis leads to superior decision making. Why compete on analytics? Because all educational organisations offer similar products (e.g. degree programs or qualifications based on Training Packages) and use comparable technology, JMA Analytics is one powerful new way to gain an edge on your competitors. JMA Analytics involves the use of high-performance business processes, which are some of the few points of differentiation available for progressive educational providers. |
