Capability analysis tools (CATs)

 JMA Analytics has designed and implemented four capability analysis tools as follows:

1. VETCAT® - the vocational education and training (VET) capability analysis tool (CAT) for measuring teaching and assessment skills. From May 2010-July 2011, 21 TAFE Institutes implemented VETCAT®.

2. CURCAT® - the vocational education and training capability analysis tool for measuring industry currency of teaching practitioners.From May 2010-July 2011, 21 TAFE Institutes  implemented CURCAT®.

3. ADMINCAT® - the capability analysis tool for measuring the skills of people who work in administration, whether in VET or any organisation. ADMINCAT® was launched in May 2011 at TAFESA Regional Instute in South Australia.

4. LEADCAT® - the capability analysis tool for managers and leaders. Currently this is customised for VET, but a version relevant to any organisation is being developed. LEADCAT® was launched in April 2011 with the executive of TAFE NSW - Riverina Institute.
